I don't know if it is a Hot Rig but she is a work horse. Warrior bass boats were made from 2007 to 2010 by Warrior boats of Minnesota. Warrior has a good foothold on high quality walleye boats in the Upper Midwest but this was their first bass boat. They also made an 18 footer with this platform. The company went out of business in 2010 and regrouped the same year by a few of the employees, and did not continue to make any bass boats.

From what it looks like the 208 XRS might have been built off the 209 series walleye boat. The 208 XRS has a 26" dead rise transom and a great deep hull, makes for a great big water boat and plenty of storage. I bought his boat because of my passion of throwing swim baits for bass, all of my rods are 8' and 8' 6" rods and cam be laid out on the deck and fit in storage compartments.

The dead rise transom and no splash well and makes for a big back deck and the front deck stays wide towards the bow. Surprisingly with the weight and size of the boat, she get up on plane very fast and handles great in turns, also love how slow she stays up on plane at low speeds also.
